Thanks everyone for wishing David a Happy Fiftieth Birthday - He dislikes these celebrations as much as I do but for some reason our society feels it necessary to commemorate specific ages...why not 37 or 22 or 63; But I felt if I did not do something people would think I was rude (which I am) for not acknowledging David's milestone...and it is a milestone because back in the 1800's men did not live to be 50 or even 40 so we are not only triumphing David's day of birth but also shouting for joy that technology has improved so tremendously that we can continue to pay bills, worry about our children, watch the extra pounds hang on like epoxy glue, shop for Christmas presents and wish Happy Birthdays hopefully into our late 90's WHOOPEE!
We are moving on to the next celebration in our family and who knows what that will be....we spent a lovely week at bear lake and I hope to have some of those photos on the blog soon because I know you will love to look at our family having fun and I also want to learn how to put photos onto a blog. Also I have learned when to use the word "may" vs using the word "might" if you would like to know I can explain it to you. Some may understand but for others it might be a stretch! xo Jane oh and Jeff wonderful talk at your second homecoming! welcome back
